WHO WE ARE

This website is run by RCP Associates Ltd, trading as RYAN, based in Southampton. We are the data controller for the personal information you give us through this site. You can contact us about anything in this policy on 07438 759 125.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We only collect what we need to reply to you and quote for your job.

• Enquiry form: your name, phone number, site postcode, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as your email address, a description of the job and when you would like it done.
• Calls and WhatsApp: if you ring or message us, we will have your number and anything you send us, including photos.
• Website use: only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used, such as the pages visited and the type of device. It does not tell us who you are.

HOW WE USE IT

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and give you a quote.
• To carry out and manage the work if you go ahead, including booking the trades needed.
• To keep the records we must keep for tax and accounting.
• To understand which pages help people get in touch, if you have accepted analytics cookies.

We do not sell your details, and we do not send marketing unless you ask us to.

• Legitimate interests for replying to enquiries you send us.
• Contract for quoting and carrying out work you ask us to do.
• Legal obligation for keeping financial records.
• Consent for analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time below.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

• Formspree, which delivers the enquiry form to us by email.
• Google, for Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
• Trades and suppliers we work with, only the details they need to carry out your job.

Some of these services store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

• Enquiries that do not go ahead: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Customer and job records: 6 years after the work finishes, for tax and warranty purposes.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months, then deleted by Google.

COOKIES

This site sets no cookies until you make a choice. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to 2 years. Your choice itself is saved in your browser so we do not ask again.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to us using it, or ask us to restrict how we use it. Call us on 07438 759 125 and we will reply within one month.
